Free Outdoor Summer Concerts

 

Tripping Lily in Falmouth, July 2006The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Citizens Bank Foundation presented free, weekly outdoor concerts in four Cape Cod towns this summer. The popular Citizens Bank Summer Concerts on the Green returned this year to Peg Noonan Park in Falmouth Village, and three new locations joined the concert series program this summer in Dennis, Hyannis, and Eastham.
 
“There’s nothing better than a summer night outdoors on the Cape enjoying music by our local artists,” said Andy Philips, Vice President and Director of Community Sponsorships at Citizens Bank of Massachusetts. “Citizens is committed to the communities where we live and work and we are proud to sponsor the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s outdoor summer concert series."

 
Summer Concerts on the Green in Falmouth
The concerts in Falmouth took place Friday evenings 6:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. at Peg Noonan Park, next to the Falmouth Public Library. The program for Falmouth included:

The Falmouth concerts are offered in collaboration with the Falmouth Village Association and Pat Ryan of Full Spectrum Music.
 
Summer Concerts on the Harbor in Hyannis
The concerts in Hyannis were offered at Aselton Park in Hyannis Harbor, at the corner of Ocean and South Street, on Tuesday nights at 6 pm.

Summer Concerts on the Bandstand in Dennis
The concerts in Dennis were performed Mondays at 7 pm on the Dennis Village Green on Route 6A in Dennis.

Summer Concerts on Salt Pond in Eastham
The concerts in Eastham were performed Wednesdays at 6 pm in the amphitheater at the Salt Pond Visitor Center at Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham.
