The 21st Annual TD BankNorth Pops by the Sea Concert, featuring the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and conductor Keith Lockhart, is set for Sunday, August 6 on the Hyannis Village Green. This year's celebrity guest conductor is William Shatner, currently starring in the television series Boston Legal.

The Pops by the Sea concert could not happen without the generous contributions of our many wonderful volunteers. Volunteers receive two free general admission tickets to the Pops, a free T-shirt, refeshments, and a whole day's worth of fun and excitement; why not join in?

Cotuit Center for the Arts

The Cotuit Center for the Arts is a thriving center for the visual and performing arts.

This month CCftA is offering a host of exciting programs, including the Cotuit Actors' Circle for Training in Shakespeare, the 6th Annual Poetry, Chili, and Art Fest, and pianist Jared McMurray in concert.

Don't miss The Stendhal Syndrome by Terrance McNally, opening March 16. Directed by CCftA artistic Director Tara O'Keefe, The Stendhal Syndrome consists of two short pieces, Full Frontal Nudity and Prelude & Liebestod. This production is for mature audiences.

Spring Grant Cycle Announced

The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod awards grants twice a year to artists and cultural organizations on Cape Cod.

The next deadline for grant proposals is April 3. A workshop for prospective grant seekers will be held at the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod on Monday, March 13 at 5:30 p.m.

The Arts Foundation welcomes grant applications for projects that fulfill the broadest goals of the AFCC mission:

To support a strong, stable and diverse arts and culture community on Cape Cod; To contribute positively to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region.

Raphael Richter, General Manager of Shakespeare on the Cape in Provincetown and 2005 AFCC grant recipient, says that the AFCC grants program "truly embraces projects that propel new creative arts inititatives. Arts on Cape Cod would not be the same without the Arts Foundation's generous support of new and groundbreaking projects."
